GOUDA, HOLLAND, PZH "DAMASCUS" PATTERN

This piece was found in an unlikely location, an Americana antiques barn in San Juan Capistrano. It is one of the core patterns from the PZH pottery factory, Damascus III, dated to 1924. The decorator was a free-lance artist, uncredited. The Damascus pattern has been copied by both English and Japanese potters.
